Participants were welcomed to Hungary with a welcome party at the Liz & Chain Skybar, on top of the Marriott Hotel. We admired the views of the Danube and Buda Castle, and heard interesting speeches by Pal Rokusfalvy, the Government Commissioner for National Wine Marketing and other key wine specialists.

Masterclasses

The Hungarian Wine Summit 2024 offered nine detailed masterclasses. These sessions covered a wide range of topics including the different wine regions in Hungary, their unique wines, and how the climate and soil types affect grape growing.

They also dived into wine making methods and explained volcanic soils’ roles in viticulture. Experts led these classes, making complex ideas easy to understand.
